My Bio
I love reading, especially fantasy. My own artistic skills are severely limited, so I'll mostly collect Tolkien fan fiction here. There is a vast amount of fan fiction out there, and I'll try to make a collection here so I can find everything. When others can continue building their own stories and dreams from a fictional universe, it is a sign of quality, and I'm hopelessly lost in this world sometimes.

A map of mental images

After following the fan art communities here for a while, it strikes me how beautifully artists can convert written words into mental images, and project those into art. I have started three collections of favourites: One for images of places, one for people, and one for written fan fiction. It is amazing how much the mental images of different artists match each other, even if each artist see the same character or place from an unique angle.
And I've still just scratched the surface. Especially with fan fiction, I feel there must be many buried treasures on this site...
